SHAMVIKAY is a beauty junkies haven. Its one of those shops you might have seen several times and never actually stopped to check out because you had low expectations.
That was exactly what had happened to me. I can say I have driven past this shop at least a million times if not more and I never cared to see/find out what was inside (major reason being- it's not on the ground floor, call me lazy)!
I finally decided to give it a try when someone pointed out to me that they had in stock bath and body works candles- now if you know me well, you know the one thing I always ask for when I hear someone is coming from the states are candles. I absolutely love candles (save this for another day). So this information alone was enough to push me to finally stop by, climb those stairs I had been dreading and check out the shop (best decision I made that week)
First thought when I got in? "Why are you now coming here Lina?" (you know when you are broke and thats exactly when the universe decides to show you the good things in life?) That was exactly me in Shamvikay.
The whole shop smelt delicious because of how tiny it was and all the candles they had. (I wanted to go to bed instantly)
The shop attendants? (+1) They were definitely trained to rob you of your money. The girls were extremely sweet and helplful yet didn't patrol you around the shop like *some attendants do ( and they do this with an angry face and still can't even help you when you actually need it)
I ended up buying way more than I planned to, mainly because of the reception I got in there. and the things were actually authentic.
Some of the items however when I did a cross check were a little on the pricey side as compared to other places (-1), but I feel it's not a bad deal when you know your money is in safe hands.

Beauty blender- 40 GHC
Alba botanicals Acnedote scrub- 70 GHC
Freeman beauty Polishing charcoal and black sugar gel mask- 45 GHC
