-I'm not here to discourage anyone from buying from this vendor because everyone has different experiences, what I seek to do is, caution people based off what I experienced.
I got this hair on the 27th of January 2017, after I had seen a friend with the same hair on. It looked good on her (I didn't really get to see it in person)
I contacted her (my friend) about the hair and honestly what sold me on this hair was the price 650 GHC/$146.37 for 3 bundles-18",20" & 22" and a frontal- 16" (+1) (now in hindsight I should have known it was too good to be true.)
It took me awhile to get it, however, because I was deliberating either getting Missnessa or Unice hair (which is an aliexpress vendor) for $171/759.45 GHC -18", 20", 22", 22" (Malaysian straight) which was slightly more expensive but had more street credibility.
Laziness got the best of me, and I finally caved in and got Missnessa hair (wrong move on my part). I messaged her and she was quick to respond and was extremely polite. (+1)
I asked for the price list for all the other hair she had in stock but ended up going for the Mongolian silky straight because that was what I had seen my friend wearing and it had looked good in her snap video.
Delivery was extremely fast, even before I could contact her the next day her delivery guy was already on his way to mine. (+1)
I picked up the hair with no problems- you pay when you receive the hair (+1). The hair came in this paper bag (+1) and the hair wefts were in regular plastic bags.
The hair looked and felt good (I need to stop falling for this). My excitement to construct the wig was beyond this world, I doubt I have ever been that excited about hair- because in all honesty I thought I had gotten some sort of steal and I needed to work on it quickly before it "evaporates". It felt like some cult secret that I wasn't supposed to be in on, but somehow I managed to get information and if I didn't act fast I'd be caught (straight black ops mission)
I made the wig a few days after receiving the hair (this was where my heart started breaking).
The hair would tangle at the nape and the shedding!! (-2) So again me being miss optimistic (wish I was like this concerning things I SHOULD ACTUALLY BE OPTIMISTIC ABOUT!) I took the wig apart thinking it was the construction of the wig causing the tangles (this wasn't the first wig I had constructed but I decided to take this blame, just in case- wild thought)
Apart from the tangling and shedding I couldn't keep the hair straight (THIS GOT ME SHOOKETH BECAUSE I KNOW I BOUGHT MONGOLIAN SILKY STRAIGHT) !!!
Second wig construction and the hair was still tangling. Me reaching again, I decided to do a *bleach bath on the hair (bleach bath is what professional hair stylist use to combat frizzy and matted hair) Now this almost had me fooled. The hair would stay straight for a few hours without getting frizzy and the tangling was minimal - it was still tangling nevertheless.
After my bleach bath I got it to look straight but.......it still was not SILKY STRAIGHT. Eventually I gave up on the hair.
My friend who had the same hair said her issue was- the hair wouldn't stay straight, so her solution to this was, she'd use a holding spray on the hair (which I did too) but that didn't work for me.
What broke my heart the most was when I'd wash the hair it had a body wave texture! (-1)
Now this vendor has other hair types, so maybe I bought the cheapest grade?!
If that's the case I compared it to hair almost in the same price range way better. Vendors, even if you are selling different grades, your brand is a reflection of YOU. Always make sure you bring your best foot forward.
From your cheapest range to highest, basic synthetic hair problems such as tangling, matting, shedding or different textures should not be an issue.
A Difference in price should be based solely on the demand for such hair, how rare the hair is/difficutly to attain such hair.
From my experience, I won't even be tempted to try her other stock to be swayed. (still recovering from a heart break).
Below I created a little clip of the few pictures/videos I have of the hair.
Hope this information was useful to you Please share your thoughts, comments and experience.
The Plug got you.

At least we the wigmakers (hobby please) know that it's not entirely our fault when the hair gets tangled. Cuticles are just not intact. Definitely not virgin hair
ReplyDeleteThese weaves tangling every time can be frustrating sometimes
ReplyDeleteI mean I got a grade A weave from these online weave shops and on my second fix the ends started getting really hard sigh😂😂
How grateful I am to come across this. I was seriously contemplating getting some hair from them. Had a couple of people recommending their hair. Now I have reason to pause. Damn.
ReplyDeleteHair vendors in Ghana are not at fault dear, sometimes u will even explain to the buyer the grades and what will help them ,but the want cheap things but quality items ,that aint possible dear
ReplyDeleteHi! Thanks for you message. As I stated above no matter the price range, basic synthetic hair problems such as tangling and shedding should not be a problem with "virgin hair". Again as stated above I compared it to hair that was in the same price range that didn't give such problems at an early stage.
DeleteThank you again for your message ❤️
