This post may or may not be about me but I have collected the cheap subliminal and I'm going to review it, since that is what I do!
I mean for someone who hasn't been reviewed by me, I feel you are trying your best to get my attention. From that phone call you made after the Maud review (I don't know if you said you were going to beat me up or take me to court- I really wasn't paying attention because it wasn't said directly to me) to this cheap subliminal - which by the way has gotten my attention now, great try. I had no intention of reviewing you because as beautiful as your work is, I absolutely hate the process of having something sewn (from getting the fabric, to picking a style, to even the fittings stress me out) I avoid the whole process all together, so I doubt our paths would have crossed.
But since I'm taking this post as a sub to me. I'm going to review your caption- because I feel your post itself was a great message, however, you lost me with the caption.
Now you started a women empowerment post with 'Yapping' (don't know if you know this but that is a derogatory term to use especially when the whole essence of your post was to rebuke women tearing other women down)
"Women are always
You started off beautifully about women empowering other women and not tearing them down then drifted to tearing a woman down by what I suspect is supposed to be an insult "But please if you haven't constructed anything, before you feel important and think you have the right to constructively criticize, start with yourself". PLEASE PICK A STANCE. If you are rebuking me for "tearing" other women down, throwing low blows or cheap insults is not the way to get your message across. You want to lead by example, rather you could have started with your first sentence and ended with "before you go about criticizing other women, take a critical look at yourself first", or something more tasteful.
I did not write a review about you, I only reposted issues YOUR CUSTOMERS had with you. So in turn what I have taken from your post is, YOUR CLIENTS who clearly can't sew, are not allowed to say/ criticize you because they have never (what was the term you used?) "constructed" anything before (nice way of telling them to shove their grievances where the sun don't shine).
As a Designer who has clients that look up to you this caption in my humble opinion was extremely distasteful especially since it all started with a repost of issues YOUR CLIENTS had with you. I doubt we would be here if I had reposted good reviews of your brand.
I mean your overall message was a great one but, like I said I feel there are better ways of getting your message across.
Lastly this is where I throw in my jab- You hashtagged #toomanygirls #notenoughwomen . I believe you are older than I am (30+ correct me if I'm wrong) yet you feel the need to come online and throw a cheap shot at me, on your personal page (you have more followers than my mere 2,072 but I somehow got your attention), a fight that isn't yours and then you end with THOSE HASHTAGS? In Joseline Hernandez words "You are the mouth of the south. You da dog, you carry the bone and run with it"
I truly wish you all the best in your endeavours, Your work is beautiful, truly.
Lots of Love
